What a Spook-tacular Family Dinner!

I am not a fan of the everyday "what's for dinner tonight?" cooking, but I really do enjoy planning and executing fantastic meals for special events and holidays.  One of my most favorite is Thanksgiving.  Yes, it's a lot of work, but I enjoy having all of my extended family members come over and enjoy a really good meal.  Another favorite is Halloween.  I know not too many people get into the festivities beyond trick-or-treating, but I enjoy making it fun.  Tonight, I made my family a Halloween-themed dinner.

On the menu was...

Leg of Man w/ Roast Lacerations
(a.k.a. lamb w/ fire roasted peppers)

Ghostly Rice Pilaf

"I See You!" Tomato and Mozzarella Salad

Monster Finger bread sticks

Spider Web Nachos and Chips

Blood-n-Guts Baked Brie w/ Toasted Baguette slices

Slimy Swamp Juice w/ skull-shaped ice cubes

Everything was delicious!  I particularly enjoyed the baked brie - went back for seconds.  Now, I just have to deck the house so I can greet my trick-or-treaters Wednesday evening.  However you choose to celebrate, have a fun and safe Halloween.

Be blessed!

Aisha

    1. Thank you so much, Myra. It was fun and I think my family was impressed...they took out their phones and started snapping pictures before digging in...oh, and they thought everything was tasty, too. It was fun!

Now, I have to get cracking on my "Carnival of Skirts" submissions...deadling is in 3 days...YIKES!!
