What a Spook-tacular Family Dinner!

I am not a fan of the everyday "what's for dinner tonight?" cooking, but I really do enjoy planning and executing fantastic meals for special events and holidays.  One of my most favorite is Thanksgiving.  Yes, it's a lot of work, but I enjoy having all of my extended family members come over and enjoy a really good meal.  Another favorite is Halloween.  I know not too many people get into the festivities beyond trick-or-treating, but I enjoy making it fun.  Tonight, I made my family a Halloween-themed dinner.

I've been stalking shopping for sale patterns at JoAnn's lately, and have even noted the sale dates in my planner so I wouldn't forget them.  Recently, all McCall's and Simplicity patterns were on sale for 99-cents, and you know I love a good pattern sale.  Listed below are the items I purchased within the past few weeks.

Umm...Has It Really Been Four Months?!

Wow!  I can’t believe it’s been 4 months since my last post!  I’ve been pretty busy in that time period, although you’d never know it by my blogging activity.  You may recall in an earlier post that I reflected on how bloggers whom I follow are able to dedicate themselves to publishing daily posts and updates and still live a full life.  I find this to be a challenge at times, but I want to make a commitment to myself to be better.  More on that later…
